I must tell everyone that one of the biggest influences on my musical/noise direction for the last 20+ years has been Tom Ellard and his Severed Heads project.

Visit him. Buy his music and dvds. He works hard at it and should be recognised for the innovator he is.

Berlin - Over and out

Well, after many hours of work, my S.E.T.I. performance in Berlin has been and gone. It went very well and the sound system was very good - many thanks to Stefan from Ironflame.de for the incredible amount of hard work he did in setting this whole thing up. He was let down by many people along the way but still managed to bring it all together somehow. Not sure how the Laibach copy bands fared because while they were busy bashing their drums and showing off their WW2 outfits, I was already on the way to the airport.

The event was video recorded and a DAT was made of each act, so I hope to be able to share some of the sights and sounds with you lot soon!

Next on the output stage will probably be the S.E.T.I. & Si_COMM 'Hyperlanguage' recordings for Resonance FM. Conceptually devised by Si_COMM, this will be an extension to the 'Probe' concept of mankind's adaptation for space and the future.

Vdu overload

Tired! Too much noise, too much video.

See you in Berlin!

I purchased RAX software from here. It enables me to have lots of Audio Unit synths and effects in one rack that I can play live! I can also process live audio through it ;->

I can see more sleepless nights while I think up new ways to mess my sounds around.......

Next week's evenings will be spent finalising my audio and video for the Berlin gig. Have a look at Ironflame.de and follow the links to the festival pages. The venue looks brilliant.

There's hope after all

This is Walter Wetter - he kindly bought a copy of my SEnTIent cd and I thought I'd pay a visit to see what he was up to. Lots in German but looks fascinating.....

Managed to enter the smartelectronix competition finally - their site is back up & running. See the entry below where you can download the track I made from processed DLL files!

Another Walter - this one is Walter Robotka from Vienna - an old friend who has an encyclopaedic knowledge of electronic and experimental music. He also runs a book & music shop!
